Our Christmas tree welcomes guests at the reception, setting a warm and elegant tone for the days ahead, and the resort is slowly transforming into a cosy seasonal retreat.
Throughout the week, we will be offering our Christmas Afternoon Tea with Cocktail, a festive moment perfect for slowing down and enjoying the season’s flavours. For families, the programme includes activities designed especially for the little ones, bringing light and joy to this magical time of year.
As we move closer to Christmas, Spatia becomes an invitation to enjoy simple pleasures — quiet walks, shared meals, and moments of comfort by the fireplace. We hope each visit makes you feel at home, surrounded by the serenity and beauty that define this season at Spatia.
Weather Update
This week, from 15 to 22 December, Comporta will experience cool winter weather with some periods of instability.
Daytime temperatures are expected to range between 12–15°C, with overnight lows around 6–9°C. Light rain is forecast on some days, along with occasional breezy conditions typical of this season.
If your outdoor furniture is still outside, please ensure it is covered or stored safely to protect it from moisture and wind.

exterior drainage points
any areas sensitive to rain or humidity
If you are away from your villa, our team is available to carry out preventive inspections to ensure everything remains secure and in good order.

At this time of year, when imagination feels brighter and the days take on a gentle festive glow, we invite our youngest guests to look forward to the magic soon to arrive at Spatia.
Our Children’s Festive Program begins on 22 December, bringing a series of warm, playful, and creative moments designed especially for the holiday season. From handmade Christmas ornaments and treasure hunts among the pines to cosy movie afternoons, cookie workshops, letters to Santa and fireside treats, each activity has been thoughtfully crafted to spark joy and inspire wonder.
We invite families to stay attentive to the programme as the dates approach — a beautiful opportunity for children to experience the season through moments of imagination, discovery, and festive delight.
Pop-Up Culinary Experiences at ŌRA Restaurant
At ŌRA, we invite you to discover the flavours of the region through a series of intimate, complimentary tastings hosted each week.
These moments are designed to celebrate local producers and the richness of our surrounding landscape.
Tuesday, 16:00–17:00: Mulled wine — a warm spiced drink that celebrates the flavours of winter.
Saturday, 16:00–18:00: Roasted chestnuts — a timeless Portuguese tradition enjoyed during the colder months.
